So I have to make that decision we all talke about, what do I take if shtf?
One small suitcase for all. Small safe with important papers. My Remura Go bag with HK P2K extra mags, flashlight, bleed kit, battery charger for cell phone, small notebook, pills.
Tactical bag with M-4 in one Trailblazer another in Scion.
Mossberg 930 in Scion, SOCOM16 in Trailblazer.
Everyone with a handgun on, me a BHP, wife a Glock, Son in Scion a CZ4.
Much water, MRE's, COFFEE.

Thanks for your post, threef...it puts reality right in the lap of where we wanna "hypothesize."

Many of us have never thought about what to leave, what to take--what can't be replaced, or what matters most...good stuff to chew on here.

Like most here I have participated in much debate on the so called shtf moment.
I think it helped because I have a quick go-bag a Max Remura that I have all the time. A Max Computer bag with many more thngs including a Sig and a laptop. Bleed kits strapped on my gun bags. Sleeping bags rolled tight and two Army wool blankets.

A dozen MRE's in a ruck and another ruck with lots of military clothing including two rain coats ruberized, flares, small aid kit, line, batteries, etc.
But suddenly having to load is a shock.
So I packed those items plus a small suitcase for my wife and son, a med kit with our meds, and lots of smart-water.

But, it was a shock. Then as I stood firewatch yesterday along the main evaq route I saw bumper to bumper vehicles of every kind and saw that nearly everyone had filled their vehicles with all kinds of different things.

A "...med kit with all our meds..." --Great thinking there. Serious.

What is "smart-water?" Not that aspartame crap that has NO electolytes, is it??

I would love to peek into vehicles on an evac route, just to see what folks call important...wouldn't you?

smartwater is sold at thecomissary and has lots of electrolytes.
