Got this nice pistol made for Kriegsmarine serial no. 904050 with Eagle M III/8 behind trigger left side...
Serial match and with correct markings i believe...?
Any experts out there who knows anything about this beatiful pistol?

If it was navy I believe it should have an M stamped on it. Ther were 4 variations of the Kriegsmarine issue HSC, the first three had the Nazi eagle with an M stamped below it on the front strap. The fourth variation had an eagle over an M and a 3 on the left trigger guard web. It's estimated about 14,000 HSCs went to the Kriegsmarine. That's a really nice gun you have.
I just looked at your pics again I see you have the fourth variation and you also have the eagle N commercial proofs which is correct for this gun. Once again a really nice piece.

Thanks, it is a M stamped on it left side under eagle, and the barrel has the eagle N proof mark, and serial nr. xxx050
