ROTFL.
And to think that I "got detained", by the side of US1, for over 2 hours for having an 1893 BA Mauser & a single-shot 45-70 Rolling Block unloaded/cased in my PU's back seat by the State Police on my way to a hunting trip.
(The Trooper said that the rifles HAD to be unloaded & locked in the TRUNK. = Anybody lately seen an F-250 Ford PU that HAS a trunk??)
In frustration after 1 1/2 hours, I finally/politely requested that a supervisor come to the scene. - The Senior SGT "took the young Trooper aside" for 2-3 minutes & then came to me to say, "You may go. - Have a nice evening".
Note: The Trooper said that he stopped me to see if my tail-lights were working properly.
(The lights WERE working.)
My GUESS is that he doesn't like Texans.
