I think it's cognitive dissonance. This is what happens when reality intrudes on their utopian marxist fantasy. The bills for decades of deficit spending are due and their solution is to raise taxes, increase regulation and call for nationalizing the oil companies.

Yeah, there was NO WAY that passed by 2/3. Sounded more like it went down by 2/3. The delegates clearly weren't happy about it, but the leadership decided that they "had" to put that stuff back in there to try to fool the electorate.

Not that the platform means a gorram thing. If King Hussein gets re-coronated, he's gonna do whatever the F he and his minions and puppetmasters want to do, platform, Constitution, The Bible or common sense be damned.

And that is the scariest thing about the man. He has already told the Russian PM to "...just be patient. I'll have more flexibility next term.". He just didn't realize we were listening.
