I'm sure it's at the behest of the drug cartels. Such militias form for a reason, and where they are, it's a damn good reason. If the government were doing their job, it wouldn't be necessary at all. Kinda reminds me of "The Troubles". Had the Brits just done the right thing from the beginning, they could have averted 40 years of civil war.

I agree Kevin if all was safe then no reason for the militias to be present.The article brought up an issue I had read previously about the militia taking out the corrupt LE who were working with the cartels.The same can be said of much of the politicans and military corrupt.
