Outstanding, Threefeathers! I know that introducing my grandson to shooting has been one of the best experiences of my life.

The look of pure fun on his face when he took his first shots (a Ruger 22/45) and saw the holes appear in the target will stay with me forever.

I think we need to do all we can to keep the love and respect for firearms alive by passing it on to our children and grandchildren.

Man, that brings back memories. My 7 and 8-year old daughters liked to shoot with Daddy. The fourteen and fifteen year olds they've morphed into have discovered music and boys.

I'm hoping this is just a phase, but I'm not holding my breath.

Your son is a lucky man, and so are you.
