Chalk this up to a clueless reporter filling in the blanks that he doesn't have the intellectual chops to understand.I don't understand. If it was launched at sea in a missile test range ,why is it flying over San Francisco?
Are you saying they weren't even trying to TKO San Fransicko?Chalk this up to a clueless reporter filling in the blanks that he doesn't have the intellectual chops to understand.
The missile didn't overfly the bay, or even the bay area...it was merely visible from there. The photographer is on the north end of the Golden Gate, looking south. The missile is heading west, out to sea. It appears to have originated east of San Francisco because it did: the coastline takes a big turn to the southeast south of the bay area (Los Angeles is actually east of Reno), so the sub could have launched off the southern coast and still been well east of San Francisco.
I remember a talking head infobabe who prattled on about "semiautomatic machine guns" during a report of a liquor store robbery. The gun recovered in the parking lot was single shot CO2 pellet gun. They had all of the details and chose to misreport them. When that particular STUPIDITY was pointed out to CNN "management" the "Big Shots" DEFENDED the "talking head's" foolish nonsense as, "an easy mistake to make, given the many millions of concealable crime guns in the USA".
