Reminiscent of a story Mac told about his 80th birthday as the last living member of West Point Class of 1903...To All,
Fwiw, age is a relative thing" = About a decade before his passing @ 91YY, my Uncle Wayne (YES, the former Acting COB, USS CHAMPION AM-314, who I've mentioned more than a few times over the years) was said to be, by a "[email protected] kid", "Well you're just one old, crusty SOB, aren't you??"
My Uncle responded immediately, "I'm just 80 & I ain't old."
(He later told me that, "I didn't even try to deny that I am a crusty SOB." = Fwiw, I actually LOL.)

Diamondback,And at 40, I am both the youngest and the last living male in my family tree... I have nightmares of living out my last years like Uncle Frank, alone and grumpy after having spent his entire life other than WWII taking care of the prior generations rather than begetting and raising the next.
