Rion is about as far from Miley Cyrus as you can get.

Her voice reminds me of Blondie without the electronic enhancements. When it comes to her attitude I have to agree with Snake45, nothing like Miley.

The very first time I heard that song--"Blown Away"--on the radio, I thought, "Man, that thing must be a royal bee-yotch to sing. Not many could pull it off--must be Carrie Underwood." And of course it was.

Did young Rion sing that song as well as Carrie Underwood? Of course not. But I'd give her a solid 9 out of 10 on it, and maybe several tenths to boot, and I'll bet not one person in a hundred thousand could do THAT well. (And remember, she's only THIRTEEN, ferpissake.)

But of course the video I posted is not ABOUT the singing--not at all. Her singing is just the icing on the cake. As Simon told her, she is "literally extraordinary...a beautiful person in every way."

Inspiring. For some reason, I find I don't have any problems today.
