I finally joined the 21st Century and got Netflix streaming. My DSL speed isn't fast enough for hi-def, but I still get a pretty good picture.
I am fast becoming addicted to streaming video.
Among the almost too many to choose from offerings was the complete set of Quantum Leap. I'd almost forgotten how much I liked that show. Yeah, it could get kinda bleeding heart sometimes, but the show's premise, that God took over Sam Becketts leaping and set him "... putting right what once went wrong" was pretty brave for Hollywood, even in the late 80's early 90's.
Scott Bakula comes across as a pretty likeable fellow, and Dean Stockwell was just great as the lecherous but lovable Admiral Al.
I think streaming Netflix, at around $8.00 a month, is the best deal going on entertainment today.
