I have heard on the radio that the powers that be are considering a new medal for the war on terrorism. It's for couragess restraint. In other words for not firing in certain circumstances. Such as firefights that have civilians in the area. I think most troops try to avoid shooting cicvlians any way, but sometimes conditions are such that civilian casualties a unavoidable.

How do I apply for the medal? I haven't shot at any civilians for weeks now.

Wonder what percentage would be presented posthumously?

I expect the current administration would faint at a recitation of Genghis Khans comment upon what was enjoyable. [Hint: stolen and used in Conan the Barbarian.]

No 1soldier goes into

another proposal from those who have absolutely no combat experience........ enough to gag a maggot.......

No soldier goes to war with the intention of injuring a non-combatant...

And for the record on that 30-year record, I'd really, REALLY like it to stay unbroken... just trying to demonstrate absurdity by being absurd, as the saying goes.
