I built this box out of Lyptus wood from SA a very hard wood straight grained.I still need to trim if out inside with some 1/4" stock to round out the the felt at the edges then build a solid front cover that screws in with plexiglass,I may go doors.I was just ready to get the girls out of the shop into a more controlled climate.My collection is small to most here but I feel I am moving more to quality of late than for the pleasure of shooting I have other guns for that.Thks for looking Keviin

Thks BearCat and Ed BearCat didn't you get one of those STG44 repo's ?Those are a hoot to shoot and can unload that mag in 10-12 seconds.

Yeah, I got one and love it. I found out a H&K claw mount fits right on the receiver so mine is scoped now.

I am amazed with open sights @50yds I can pull down about about a 4" group as fast as I can pull the trigger that's 900g of lead @1300-1400fps!

I shot this group at 50 yds while sighting in my scope. The string coming from right to left was when I was making adjustments. The big hole is 25 rounds.

What do use for ammo? I am using the Viper with the truncated bullet but now you can't find it last time I looked.

I think it was CCI, but I'm not absolutely sure.

Finished.Only thing I might add is" Armes Arsenal" in an old timey script from the turn of the century (1900's) in a brass/gold on the upper third of door's in a slight arc.
