Well, that pretty much takes care of the idea Gitmo is a propaganda mill for the Jihadis ....
On a more serious note, I have always wondered just what we should do with violent Muslim extremists taken into custody during a war, according to the loony libs. What should we do with them -- slap them across the wrist? Twenty lashes with wet noodles? What?
Okay, some wanted a trial. Really? So now our armed forces, fighting a war, are to act like a police dept. and CSI BAGHDAD, going around, gathering evidence, taking statements and such.
In WW2 we had German POWS and they were housed right here in good ol' America. We didn't put them on trial. Isn't there a provision against that in international law? We even treated them well.
In Aliceville, Alabama there was a POW camp where Germans were kept. They did arts and crafts and other things to keep themselves busy. Townsfolk brought them apples and other foodstuff and things. They were conscripts and knew the war was over for them; they posed no danger, and most were happy no one was shooting at them. After the war they were repatriated; but a number of them were so well treated that they returned to America and became citizens.
WE are NOT the barbarians.
I don't think I'd like the idea of those Jihadis being brought here.
Because THEY ARE BARBARIANS!
Some have been released from Gitmo -- and went right back to the battlefield.

We should have never pulled them out of the ME. Setup a prison there, interrogate them for as long as you need to. When you're done, turn them over to whatever group is their sworn enemy; what happens to them after that is just their bad luck. Shouldn't have made war on the US.
