I have no problem naming it after a politician since that boat has already sailed (no pun intended). And while she's on the other side of the isle, I guess they have every right to name it after her...I feel bad for what happened to her.

But sailors are notoriously superstitious, and naming a ship after someone who's famous for getting shot, I'm not sure people will actually be standing in line to go out to sea on that ship.

Personally, I'd love to see all the naming ships after politicians (don't we have ENOUGH politics?), and go back to naming it after cities and states.
