Steel.

My daily carry is an Airlite in .32 H&R magnum.

I like those little jframes.

All I had to do was pull the trigger once.

It's probably never been fired more than a couple of dozen times.

Soon to be jarhead kid was reticent to hand it back...

I'd really like to acquire the gun and place it next to the nitex 36 I've got. I don't have any square butt j-frames. :(

Personally, I want to buy a used Colt's 1st Issue COBRA & then I'll turn it into a ersatz, "FITZ's SPECIAL".

As I have NO intention to ever sell it, what I've wanted is what I'll make myself.
(CPT M.T. "Lone Wolf" Gonzaullas had exactly what I want, except his was made from an early Colt's Detective Special.)

yours, sw

Sometimes you just buy a gun because it's... purty.

The trigger is just value added.

I remember when trigger shoes were all the rage. That's the first one I've seen in decades. OK, first I've seen since deep in the last century.

And it was decades back that that little revolver got a trigger shoe. With the nitex finish the shoe is really unnecessary. That has the slickest trigger of all my S&Ws, but I just never bother to ditch the shoe.
