Ok, I'm going to be spending a day with the grandpeeps in an amusement park that's "gun free". Normally that wouldn't be a problem but they actually have metal detectors at the gates due to some unpleasantness a few years back.

At any rate, I'm seeking a blade option that won't get me kicked out.

Any assist appreciated.

Thx.

I don't recall the source, but there are glass filled resin knives and delta darts available. Try Cold Steel.

I drove one of the darts through 1/2 inch plywood.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Enhanced a couple of plastic tent stakes, mixed up a bit of homemade ghost pepper spray and watched The Hunted again.

I'm good.

Since the immediate problem seems to have been solved, mind if I drift a little? I have not seen "The Hunted", but since you mentioned it Walt, I scanned a few reviews.

I don't think I've ever seen movie reviews so inconsistent. Print reviewers, with the exception of Roger Ebert, generally panned it. Individual viewers generally liked it, but again, opinions were all over the charts. Some called it a cheap Rambo ripoff, with gratuitous violence and not much plot; other saw it as almost a masterpiece of ingenuity and survivalism.

I'd be interested to hear what some of you thought.

I believe I saw it (I'm pretty sure my son lent me the DVD) but I remember virtually nothing about it. Take that for what it's worth.

I'll watch pretty much anything with Tommy Lee Jones in it.

As an aside I'm also watching The Strain and The Last Ship which are both better than I expected.

Looks like Fargo is coming back too.
