I've found an alloy frame S&W Model 342 with a STAINLESS STEEL cylinder, rather than Titanium.
(The PO was a FWPD detective & thinks that this MAY be a precursor to the Model 642 & was one of the 1st Model 342 revolvers .)
SN: CZR828X
Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what it is & perhaps how many were made with SS cylinders??
(All that I know is that I've never seen one like it until now, but there are MANY things that I know NADA of.)
