I found two boxes of my grandfathers olf ammo. Remington kleanbore 30-30 Winchester 150 grain core-loft bullet 20 center fire smokeless cartridges. They are over 55 years old. Are they worth anything?

Clean with no corrosion with the original box in good condition yes. How much depends on supply and demand. Corrosion and a tatty box not so much. Put them in zip lock bags to protect them.

The ammo is LIKELY safe to shoot, even if you have to clean it gently.

.30-30 ammo isn't rare.

Even Old Boxes...

...are of interest to collectors. If these rounds are in their original boxes, it may be wiser to take them to a gun show and sell or trade them.

Areed, I have about 300 rounds of 30 carbine date stamped 1942 and 44 bot no boxes....stuff shoots awesome with to FTF. Clean brass too
