My wife's great grandfather gave her a 25-20 hex barrel in pretty good condition, serial number I 519469 I believe that it is a saddle gun.

Trying to find the year it was born and possible worth maybe

Most likely a Winchester 92 manufactured in 1909

Condition is so important in the value of old guns like that that it could be junk to treasure. Have someone competent look at it.
