I have a older Beretta 92F that has the basic one white dot front sight and white mark rear sight or use to that is. Over the years as the gun was fired the dots turned yellowish from cleaning and then eventually disappeared. Has anyone re-painted the sights and if so with what. I would assume for application purposes that you would just need a very fine pointed brush or toothpick, but am not sure of the paint type or brand to use.

Thanks,
CM

Go to any hobby or craft store (such as Michael's) that sells Testor brand model enamel paint in the little 1/4 oz bottles. Get one of FLAT white. They make it in gloss to but you want FLAT. Shake it up thoroughly before use. Clean your paintbrush with lacquer thinner or any other organic solvent.

It lasts a long time, and when it gets dirty or yellow or wears off, just clean it off with lacquer thinner and do it again.

I should have mentioned to degrease the sights thoroughly with lac thinner before you start, too.
