Well, when they're paid asinine amounts of money and told all through school that they're special and every failing is excused it's not hard to see how they soon start to believe it. Eventually they're dragged kicking and screaming into the real world if they push it hard enough.

Yeah, it's a damned shame. The world is his oyster...and he chokes on the pearl.

Don't mistake that comment for any kind of sympathy. I have none. Just the thought of having that kind of skill and talent and not being able to quit being a thug...:censored:

Oh and idiot boy's lawyer says it's all circumstantial :)

Later, surveillance footage from Hernandez's home showed his friends arrive and go inside. Hernandez, holding a gun, then told someone in the house he was upset and couldn't trust anyone anymore, the prosecutor said.

At 1:12 a.m., the three left in Hernandez's rented silver Nissan Altima, McCauley said. Cell towers tracked their movements to a gas station off the highway. There, he said, Hernandez bought blue Bubblicious cotton candy gum.

At 2:32 a.m., they arrived outside Lloyd's home in Boston and texted him that they were there. McCauley said Lloyd's sister saw him get into Hernandez's car.

From there, surveillance cameras captured images of what the prosecutor said was Hernandez driving the silver Altima through the city of Boston. As they drove back toward North Attleborough, Hernandez told Lloyd he was upset about what happened at the club and didn't trust him, McCauley said. That was when Lloyd began sending texts to his sister.

Surveillance video showed the car entering the industrial park and at 3:23 a.m. driving down a gravel road near where Lloyd's body was found. Four minutes later, McCauley said, the car emerges. During that period, employees working an overnight shift nearby heard several gunshots, McCauley said

German police recently solved a roughly 6 year long open case involving over 700 incidents of moving vehicles being shot by data mining on traffic surveilance cameras they specifically set up in 3 specific areas where clusters of these incidents took place.

Once they had the vehicle information in time slugs, they sorted for repeat vehicles at multiple incidents and cross referenced with cell phone records. They arrested a truck driver, who immediately confessed.

It's currently a real big deal over there because the cops are specifically excluded from data access on the regular traffic cameras (assume except for traffic offenses). Massive cross referrenceing of data banks was how the RAF (we called them Baader-Meinhoff Gang) remnants were run down after reunification under a special law passed explicitly to catch them. After the Gestapo, RSD and the STASI, they're really, really, leary of surveilance/databases etc.

Maybe Minority Report isn't fiction anymore.

He took buds/homies with him?????????/QUOTE]

Yeah...if there is one thing I've learned in the last 20 years, it's that if you are going to commit a crime, do it by yourself. Your chances of getting caught (or convicted) are much smaller. People WILL talk. And since talking can keep you outta jail, or minimize your time spent there...;)

Well, he didn't blab .... neither did the Cubans who were working with him, as G. Gordon always pointed out.
