Don,

There's too much space underneath the two rifles. What you'll need to do is purchase a couple more rifles to fill in that space.

Looking good though.

with garands the rule of 3 applies so you can use the stacking swivels.

generally yes. i will exempt gas traps, M1C, M1D, NM and collector grade rifles from this. mainly due to not wanting to ding them up any as the dings will degrade the value of expensive guns. also some NM guns don't have a stacking swivel.

i have 7 M1s now. but 1 is an M1D. so i'm ok. i also have 3 - 1917 and i think i need one more 1903 to make 6.

Hang in there bro, things will look brighter.
Amen Bro, Just got back from signing the book at the hall and I am under 100 on the out of work list now. If things keep going like they have been I should be out to work by about the end of Sept.

Will pray for ya bro.

By then end of September, eh? Just in time to be able to purchase new toys without a weapons ban (hopefully no new ones will be enacted).

Don,
Hope you get work soon.

Here there is an extreme shortage of electricians.......
Think about moving south for the winter? <AFTER HURRICANE season!>

I think I had my greatest percentage firearms gain during a period of unemployment.... and the incentive to open a gunshop....

Blessings are often disguised!

Luck,

Gerry

Problem is I can only work Union and FLA is a very unfriendly Union State. Plus even the Union Wages are so low I couldn't afford to stay there and send money home. Plus I really Hate FLA.

hahahahahahaha

Other than that.... why wouldn't you like to be here....

When I was a kid, my dad got me into Union in NYC..... He was in it, His dad was in it.... he thought I should be in it.....

I did, paid my dues... Aprenticed when I was young... Should have stayed in it I would be retired.

My dad became a machinist.... I got involved as a hobby then as a gunsmith....

Left the Union, went to college... got underpaid... then more school... More underpaid.... designed weapons systems... got into sales, marketing...

Work for a big company that sells Multimeters now...
Wife runs the gun shop....

The friends that stayed in the union are retired, own other business and are good to go.

Florida isn't the most union friendly state, but they have a good electrical program, and salaries are higher for them than for most other professions here. Guess it is relative.

I never liked Florida... Moved here in the 1970's... moved away to California, Texas.... decided it was much better here than in the socialist states... better than Texas, although I have great friends from there, and better than the states that would elect the likes of Hillary and Chuck .... and give away your earnings to those who don't have a desire to work.

Food up north was great, but they're catching up here since most of the northern population is here now  ....

Most of the year, weather here is like summer weather in the midatlantic states... we do have a couple of nice cool months....
No snow shovels required!

This is a Garand... heck, a gun friendly state...
I'll probably be here as long as it stays that way...

I hope you find work.... Hope your winter is not severe, and I hope we don't send any more of our pesty hurricanes up that way....

Very best,

Gerry

Optical illusion. I never noticed but I went and looked and actually holding them side by side the Dane is about 1/2 inch longer than the Greek. At least in my half awake state it looked it.
