The B27 target comes in black as well. It's the one I often see used for Texas CHL pistol qualification for non-military folks. Yeah, we get a bye on this but I always shoot anyway.
up here we have a thing called "herman the german" which in the right light is racist as heck bit we've had them as standard targets since ww2-even when the west germans were our allies- even the cadets had 25 meter pop ups for 22s
Yeah, well black ink and white paper have stuck around because they're CHEAP.
The alternate I'd offer, out of BUDGET not caving, would be alternating black and white rings.
Otherwise these whiny, turdsucking Grievance Hustlers are, in my grandfather's words, "more fortunate than I am because they can KISS MY ASS and I can't."
There used to be a silhouette target with no scoring rings and the placement of vital organs on the back. You shot timed and rapid at about 10 yards then recovered the target to see if you had stopped the fight.
I just downloaded a politically correct zero target. It uses a square instead of the shape of a military knock down target at 300 meters.
As I recall the 1970s and 80s the KD targets were green.

Who never met a person who was black, most were shades of flesh color. I may have met some black ops people, but back then you couldn't tell, or ask.
This is a replay of stuff that went around decades ago in law enforcement. Lead to the creation of green and blue shaded targets.
In the interests of truthiness, someone should point out that the b/w target has to do with target contrast, not some inner meaning imputed by those with no understanding of what's in progress. I guess they'd be in favor of a white target on a black background.
Come to think of it, I also recall the fuss about photographic targets with armed children. Guess the liberals aren't aware that gang banging is both equal opportunity and non-age discriminatory.
