Snak45,

RotflmRao.

HOW did we get stuck with "the DOPE in the WH"?

We just might be as well off with BG Putin (He is "reportedly" a brigadier general in the "State Security Service of Russian Police") as we are with the Obamanation????

yours, sw

Better leader? Maybe. STILL a KGB scumbag who as presently senior-ranking survivor of that vile agency bears responsibility for having murdered a friend of mine's father and putting a death mark on that friend's head and thus being LONG OVERDUE for his own Ace of Spades...

Generally, my opinion of KGB is similar to how Torquemada viewed those unfortunate enough to draw the Inquisition's suspicion... roughly translated the first known "Kill 'em all and let God sort it out."

Dunno about the first use. I believe that the general principle was established during the early Crusades as a Bishop of the Church commented at one point after a really indiscriminate sack of a city (might have been Constantinople which wasn't, in fact, held by the 'infidels' but the Crusaders had had it with the 'cheat the visitors' attitude): "God will recognize his own."

In serious terms, I see your point. Our Government has been outplayed hard on Syria so far, with Russia backing Iran while Iran does the ground work.

The Snowden stuff has also been very successfully used to sow internal political division in the US, as Syria has also been used to a certain extent.

Mismanagement of both situations by the "Wizards of Smart" running affairs in D.C. these days has just made things a lot worse in both cases.

Those two points, and probably several others, are deadly serious. Russia may not be the force it once was, but Mr. Putin is using some serious political jujitsu here to accomplish goals way in excess of the force he is applying, indeed as in Judo he is often turning US domestic and international energies back against our own interests. This Olympics thing is fascinating too, with him playing the gay rights card in reverse to bait the US. Right now he is playing Chess and it seems our crew isn't keeping up with him, as minor efforts by Russia in terms of using US Mistakes and a press release or two are used to cause serious disruptive effects.

Referring to Mr. Moore's post. And it what other gun forum can you see discourse like this? :D

And back on point...Putin may not be a better leader, but he could undoubtedly stomp our Prez into a greasy spot on the floor.

I have considerable sympathy for Putin and the Russians. He has a heck of a lot more terrorist trouble on his own turf. Since the 1990s revolution NATO and the US State Department have done everything short of military action to start a war with Russia. He is trying to modernize a country in which nothing worked EXCEPT crime and he has to fulfill the legacy of communism.

NATO starting trouble in the Balkans was just a kick in the teeth.

Don't get me wrong, the Russian PEOPLE I have utmost sympathy for, all they've ever know is suck for virtually the duration of their cultural existence.

Now Komrade Goosestepping Bastard on the other hand... I'd like to see him take a long walk through a short incinerator, chained down feetfirst just like his buddies used to do down in the basement of the Dynamo Sports Club.

Putin may be many things, at least one of which is that he's a hell of a lot more like a leader than our current head of state. He at least seems to grasp the concept.

And to depart from the point: We be literate bitter clingers!

Dear Reader's minions are terrorized by a rodeo clown, how do they think he is going to handle Putin?
Isn't that whole rodeo clown thing just...infuriating? Why is it that if you say or do anything that isn't praise or adoration for this president that you are automatically racist? Simply because of the color of his skin? If you ask me, that cheapens the horrendous evil and hate that true racism exemplifies!

I'm sorry, but using that tactic to attempt to blunt any criticism of Obama is backfiring badly...it is hurting race relations in this country, and will for quite a while.

Condemn and punish real racism...don't throw it up as a shield to protect anyone from honest criticism...or satire.

I agree, I also wonder what would happen if the movie "Point Break" were made today and one of Swayze's crew had an Obama mask on?

By the way, on the topic of Putin's Russia, there are rumors starting to percolate on the internet that Egypt may withdraw from her agreements and alliances with the US due to the past US support for the Muslim Brotherhood and ally instead with Russia, going back to the old alliance Nasser once had with the USSR in the Cold War days. The Russian Foreign Office is stoking the possibilities of deeper Egyptian-Russian ties as well, talking about the possibility of starting economic aid to Egypt.

Egypt to ask Russia for economic aid

Once again, a press release sparks speculation on Russia. It is worth noting that the Russians once had a Syrian and Egyptian partnership as their strongest Mideast allies. What this may mean about Iran is anyone's guess.

Not sure that Egypt, at this point in time, needs any assistance from either 'superpower'. The Saudis and another Arab state have granted a $40 billiion line of credit. Which may go higher. Not everyone in the middle east was thrilled to see the Muslim Brotherhood come to power.

Arnaud Amalric - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Arnaud Amaury or Arnaud Amalric (died 1225) was a Cistercian abbot who took a prominent role in the Albigensian Crusade. He is most remembered for allegedly advising a soldier, who was worrying about killing orthodox Catholics along with the heretics during the sack of Cathar stronghold of Béziers, Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius. ("Kill them. For the Lord knew those that are His own.")
