From Guns.com:
Judge dismisses Sandy Hook lawsuit against Remington

' Judge Barbara Bellis cited the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act in her dismissal of the plaintiffs' negligent entrustment argument, according to the order filed Friday.

' "The present case seeks damages for harms, including the deaths of plaintiffs' decedents, that were caused solely by the criminal misuse of a weapon by Adam Lanza," the order says. "Accordingly, this action falls squarely within the broad immunity provided by PLCAA." '

Unfortunatly, President Hillary Clinton will probably issue an executive order overturning the law that guided this decision........

shep854,

ImVho, the judge erred when he/she failed to issue a summary judgement & then sanction the plaintiff's attorney for wasting the court's time in a civil suit that is obviously in violation of law. = When & IF the US/State Courts fail to IMMEDIATELY sanction the filing of frivolous suits, it encourages MORE frivolous suits.
(When I was employed as a SDUSM, the court wasted a great deal of time/taxpayer's money on civil suits filed by prisoners that were FOOLISH. = I remember one case where a federal prisoner's attorney filed a case against the government because the prisoner wanted a particular brand of salad dressing served in the prison cafeteria.)

yours, sw
