Even another 552 stock may not fit correctly. Stocks are typically not drop in items on most guns. I've tried interchanging stocks on Remington 1100's & 870's, even when the stock was from the same model number, most often they didn't fit without some serious effort to make them fit.
Also I believe the 552's recever where the stock mates up is significantly smaller. The only parts that are interchangable between the 552 and the shotguns is in the trigger/fire control group.
I dont know the gentlemans name? But he had two pics up on a 552 about the trigger ass.But anyway he was right!I had taken it apart for cleaning. And it wouldnt cock the hammer?Because the sear bars was turned around.
