R. Lee Ermey, known to many as an actor, a man with a unique sense of humor, and an unofficial voice of the United States Marine Corps, has passed away at the age of 74. He was a Vietnam Veteran and former "D.I.," with 11 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he became a technical advisor to film productions, as well as an actor and later a television host. He was known in the shooting community as an advocate of the Second Amendment, shooting sports, the military, and as a Spokesperson for Glock.
