Robert was always a favorite of mine. I enjoyed both Robert and David McCallum In The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and The Magnificent Seven. Robert appeared in so many great pictures.

RIP, Robert Vaughn.

On a side note I prefer David McCallum's character Ducky over Iliad.

R.I.P., Napoleon Solo, AKA Robert Vaughn.

A childhood hero. He was a fine actor.

Agreed. When I was about 12, I caught "The Bridge At Remagen" on TV and he blew me away. He totally owned his role and the movie, and given the rest of the cast, that is amazing. Still a favorite movie of mine.

Good man and good actor. Never a superstar, which may have been an advantage.
I dislike their choice of the early promotional picture of Napoleon Solo with the Luger. I loved the U.N.C.L.E. special growing up and my early firearms knowledge was enhanced figuring out how it could be done.

Who missed buying a 2" P-1 because I didn't believe it was factory and the P-4 was way out of my price range.
