As a matter of fact I just bought the magazine at lunch today. Are you the Charles E Petty that did the Commander article in the same Mag?

I'm looking forward to getting one of these in a few weeks to review for Concealed Carry Magazine.
I've only seen photos of them so far, but I like the looks.

I'm glad you mentioned Concealed Carry Magazine because I've never seen one. I look at just about all the gun rags today and have never heard of this one. I went to their web site and will be getting a copy soon. Thanks, and I'll look for your article.

Am I detecting a trend here?

Guys, the $30/year for the combined subscription to GUNS and AMERICAN HANDGUNNER is well worth the cash. Ichiro Nagata's gun porn alone is worth the money. Especially if you subscribe under the promotional pricing in the sweepstakes flyer enclosed within.

...blush...

Ichi's pictures are so good it's almost spooky. There are more than a few on my walls and sometimes holding the real gun in my hand is almost a letdown compared to the photo.

CZ Rami sems to be a nice well thought out pistol. As does the Para-Ordnance Warthog...

Caliber, size, finish, function, reliability, designated or intended use.... those are some of my favorite things:)

I wish all decissions were like deciding on which gun to buy.... don't you all?

Eric has become a regular at the Pennsylvania gatherings and I finally got to put some time in with an R9.

Check out the Rohrbaugh website for pictures from the Pennylvania gathering http://www.rohrbaughforum.com/YaBB.cgi? ... ;start=0#0
I believe there is some video on there, too.

Guys usually drive 3-5hrs to come to these 2x's a year and Eric is one of them.

Since the range was so crowded I only got to shoot it at the 50yd targets and I was shooting at clay birds and hit pretty close to the ones I was aiming at. The trigger is impressive. I have a hard time adjusting my grip to such a small gun but HEY its a 9mm that you can pull out of your pocket.

As Jamie mentioned, Mr. Rohrbaugh has attended a couple of the PA events. There are usually two or three of his guns there, including his own personal carry pistol.
The gun has a smooth trigger and very low profile sites. It is well-made.
Eric is a cool guy with whom to chat. He can tell you about practically every gun he ever made, like they're his kids or something.
It is certainly a good choice for a pocket gun and nicer to shoot than the Kahr P9C that Mrs. 9mmMike carries.
I would rather carry a full-size, larger capacity 9mm but IMHO the Rohrbaugh is a great alternative for those times when you can not carry a larger gun.
