I deal with quite a few distributors that are members of buying group called TALO. They regularly have special edition firearms produced by varying manufacturers. Usually they serialize them (sequential serial #'s usually starting with 0 and ending in the number of the run.) This particular gun is a S&W Model 500 with engraving, plus it came with a mahogany velvet lined presentation case.
On a regular basis, I personally collect guns with serial #77. Unfortunatly, on this run, the distributor who got #77 had a brain fade and send #77 to a dealer in New Hampshire . I had to settle for Serial #75. The gun differs from run of the mill Model #500's by having been engraved and polished. With these guns there is no such thing as MSRP, but I can tell you that if I were to put this one for sale it would have a tag on it of $1695.00.
I have not fired this gun, nor have I even dry fired it. It will go onto my shelf and into my collection. Nothing like the first national bank of firearms for a retirement account.
Bet it isn't serial # 77!!!!! That gun came in Friday and I have not had time to take a picture of it yet!!! And you forgot to mention that the PC Hunter only has a 6-1/2" barrel!!
That is, without a doubt, the most advanced case of BlueBalls I have ever seen! (Come to think of it, it's the ONLY case of BlueBalls I have ever seen.)
I'll raise you THREE GLOCK WHEELGUNS....oh, never mind....
