Savage Swap Barrels

I put one on an old Mauser and it shoots great. Don't know about a Savage. Make shouldn't matter too much.

The way Savage barrels are attached one can change barrels and be shooting a totally different caliber in less than 10 minutes.

As you may know that won't happen on a Mauser. I haven't any complaints as far as quality or fit on the barrel I got from Midway. It came short chambered and in the white,

AHammer, I didn't grasp what you were talking about at first. I've looked into this model Savage and it seems like it might be nice. T/C has had good luck with interchangeable barrels as has Dan Wesson. I haven't actually seen one of these yet . No one in my area has one.

Any Savage rifle made in the last 40 years works.

I haven't seen or heard of this setup till you mentioned it. Sounds like a nice setup. I'll have to look into it.
