In case anyone has been wondering about the silence from Skeptic49, he was in a serious car accident July 1st and is in hospital. I believe he posts in this forum and if any of you might pass the word if there is another forum he frequents, I would appreciate it. He should recover more or less completely but it will take a while for him to mend sufficiently to be back on here.:(

I'm very sorry to hear this. Yes, I, and I'm sure many others here, are very familiar with Skeptic49's posts.

Prayers for his rapid recovery en route.

So sorry to hear about this! Our thoughts and prayers to Geoff and family. CSMKersh is all too correct. Hospitals are never fun. But I can tell you it is amazing what they can accomplish today.

Y'all hang in there.

Thanks for the info Skeptic's Wife, please keep us informed. Having only been home for about two weeks myself, from being in the hospital since May, I do know what it's like. I was very fortunate to get wifi access and thus able to stay connected. Here's to a strong constitution and speedy recovery for both of you.

Thank you so much for letting us know. Prayers and best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

Parenthetically, don't forget to take care of yourself too. The constant trips to and from the hospital, not to mention the loss of time and the disruption to your daily routine, can take a serious toll.

A big +1 on that, SkepticsWife. My wife went through what you are going through. Be glad to put you in touch with her if you need to talk.

And if there is anyway you think any of us can be of help, reach out...on this forum or by PM. Don't hesitate to ask.

God Bless and Keep you.
