Soft touch

We frequently get unwelcome visitors in the form of pesky critters in our yard. From ravens, cats, and snakes that try to dine on our bluebird eggs and hatchlings, to squirrels at the bird feeders, to deer munching the shrubs, to stray dogs who seem to be smarter than their owners, we get quite a menagerie.

Now I'm a guy who doesn't like to kill anything that doesn't really, really deserve it, so I'm not out to do any real damage; I figure the ravens, squirrels, and cats are just trying to make a living, just like I am. I would, however, like to discourage some of the more predatory behavior. To that end, I have decided to enter the strange world of Airsoft.

Having put my toe in the water, I'm astounded that every Airsoft gun I've seen is designed to look like a real firearm. I won't detour here into a rant, but suffice it to say, I couldn't care less about authenticity, and desire only two things: accuracy and power.

So, do any of you have any Airsoft experience? Any recommendations for a powerful, accurate shooter, preferably not a replica of something that will make me look like a pathetic wannabe?

Airsoft doesn't interest me, but I'm trying to decide if the old Sheridan pistol and rifle in .20 cal makes sense for T&P in the shortage world.

Who wishes the Philippines would activate their war surge plans and dump a load of ammo on the american market.
Well does paintball gun come with a low=power training round?
