Does anyone know where I can obtain a Leatherwood clip guide replacement block (the one with the female screw threads that replaces the stripper clip guide block on an M1A). This is used to secure the rear screw of an ART II scope/mount to an M1A/M14 rifle.

Springfield Armory blocks WILL NOT work - they are different.

DPMS no longer has them - a discontinued item

Leatherwood Optics does not have them.

Is there anyone out there with one for sale.

Email me at [email protected]

Thanks

That's what I did, with a borrowed tap no less. Centerpunch is essential, even though the mount I have has a generous amount of slop built in.
