The Reese Brothers never struck me as guys that would bend like S&W and Glock has when it comes to anti-gun issues. It's good to see that they continue the pro-gun stance.

I like the Springfield products and like the company itself. When Triton was brand new and very wet behind the ears, Springfield was the first company to tackle the .45 Super project when we asked them.

They also support the shooting sports wholeheartedly. A great company overall and a good example for the rest of the industry.

Jar as I posted on the other site...Im very happy with both of my recent Springfield 1911s and am very glad to see them stand like this!
Glock kinda took it on the chin....I wonder what Steyr the other Austrians are doing considering this?

I can think of several anti-gun types of people who would reflexively be against BF:

A metallurgist.
One involved in cost/benefit analysis.
A taxpayer who's concerned about wise use of his money.

None of these are necessarily pro-gun or pro-Second Amendment. From the standpoint of the wise use of public monies, it's not even a "gun issue"!
