Friends,

Due to a severe computer problem, I ended up not being able to return to the forum, as my old "alias" & password would no longer work.
(As I'm only semi-literate in "computerese", I'm not sure what happened.)

After 10-15 unsuccessful tries, I wrote TWICE to the webmaster, asking that he/she reset my password to my old password & after more than a week I still have received NO ANSWER of any sort to those 2 emails.

Finally, I have re-registered as "EX-SMA cadet" but am the same old EOF as I've been for over a decade.
(In the event that I ever do get a positive response from our webmaster, I'll happily go back to being "stand watie".)

In the meantime, it's NICE to be "home".

MERRY CHRISTMAS to All.

yours, Darla & sw

Go back to the old stand watie account and attempt to login. If your password fails, a new box will open up saying your password does not work and at the end has a 'Click Here" if you forgot your password. After you click on that you can enter the email address you used for that account and you will receive instructions for resetting your password. If you don't remember your email address for this account, I can provide it for you.

SpecialEd,

At the obvious risk of stating the obvious, why NOT just reinstate my old account & password??

I tried numerous times to reset my password W/O success.
(I have NO idea what email that I used that long ago & frankly don't think that we need to do anything but restore my account from the status before the "problem" happened..)

just my OPINION, sw

If I could I would. I have no access to your password. I can provide you with the email you used. If you still don't want to try I can change the email on your account to my email and go through the reset process and then turn it back over to you, but I wont do that without your permission. I'll send your email address in a private message.

SpecialEd,

Fyi, I tried NUMEROUS (like 15-20 times) to go back to EX-SMAcadet but that password no longer works either.
(There's something BAD wrong & i don't know enough about 'puters to know what the problem is.)

I give up.

SpacialEd,

This website has a MAJOR, MAJOR "screw-up" in the registration/password change process. = It tells you to click on the 1st message & then says that your password has been reset & a new password has been sent to your email-box. = The 2nd message NEVER ARRIVES.
(It just did the SAME or rather DID NOT send the 2nd message 4-6 times..)

PLEASE FIX THIS MESS, soonest.

yours, sw
