Does anyone have any experience with the Summit .50 BMG ammo??

They have 2 varieties --- MOD1 is loaded with once fired military brass and 690gr SA ball and MOD2 m33 is loaded with new Winchester Brass and 249gr projectile --- and it says they use the same powder as the lake city army ammo plant in both rounds and it is supposedly featured in Barrett's Annual Mag.

They are packaged 10 to a box and 80 to a master pack. Before bringing any in, wanted to get .50 shooters opinions. I have a bunch of .50's on the shelf and want to make sure I have ammo to make them go bang if needed!

Only fired a couple boxes of the Summit ammo. It shot well out of both the AR-50 and MK-82. It is good ammo and the accuracy is good also, it will go bang when needed.

Ammuntion Store http://www.ammunitionstore.com/

Has Spotters at 100 rnds for $160 ($1.60/round ain't bad). They have other loaded with 750 grain A-max's but they are pretty $$$.

They are cuurently trying to aquire a lot of brass to reload for resale!! Hopefully this will transpire into a source of semi-affordable loaded 50 ammo for those of you that do not reload!!

Watson's Weapons is another source

Purchase Summit 50 Cal. rounds, each box had read sticker "do not fire in semi-auto". Can't reach Summit to inquiry. Anyone know what the reasoning for the sticker is? Airborne!
