Between the recent murders of the Texas DA and his wife, and the murder in the same county of another Prosecutor, I am wondering if it is a Drug Cartel. These tactics have been used by the cartels in Mexico for years, I wonder if they have been brought across the border now.

Also the Colorado murder of the prison official was having me wondering as that killer was run down to a gunfight in Texas, where he died. He was a convicted felon who had gotten out recently, perhaps from a clerical error*

Clements murder: Evan Ebel may have been out of prison 4 years too soon, documents say - The Denver Post

Which makes me wonder now how that all worked out. Also as he was a convicted felon someone gave or sold him a gun. After the killing he did head straight to Texas, maybe running for the border. A lot of high profile hits. Two in one area of Texas, the third in Colorado but by a guy who was caught running down to Texas, and who was accidentally released about four years early.

The Texas hits are also being talked up as using semiautomatic rifles (Interesting no one is wondering if they were illegally converted or imported full auto ones) which is also a hallmark of Mexican drug gangs.

I've been following this story (these stories?) too. You can a get a couple of different takes depending on the reporter.

Is it Aryan Brotherhood?

Is it Mexican Drug Cartels?

There are arguments for both. Hopefully, LEO's have much more info than they are releasing. I just don't want to see an "...arrest is imminent" press release. That means the case is dead in the water.

Well, it seems there is a theory some have posited that the Aryan Brotherhood may have been working with the Mexican Drug Cartels, or at least doing contract work.

At any rate, the man who was just killed (along with his wife) gave an interview on the prior killings just before his death. Breitbart's reporter seems to have had the "Cooperation" theory, Mr. McLelland didn't confirm it or deny it.

Breibart report-Texas LEO Murders-and Computer attacked

I was reading Breibart this morning.

When I clicked on the read 'more' icon, Norton flashed a msg that my computer had been attacked and sussessfuly defended.

When I exited the site, Norton again flashed a warning that there had been another attempted attack. This time from a different source.

Seems that Breibart has aquired an opponent or two.

Hmm... there are rumors that a former Justice of the Peace who they prosecuted will be arrested for it.

Eric Williams: Disgraced court official to be charged with murders of Texas district attorney, his wife and assistant | Mail Online

Keeping IrishCop's words of advice in mind though.... we'll see.

David
I first heard about that development on the radio news during the drive to work. The reporter said that "...police are not listing Williams as an official suspect".

They have charged him with an "unrelated" Terrorist Threat. I am sure they are at least looking at him. Sure would shoot the Aryan Bro/NarcoTerrorist theories all to hell.

Occam's Razor. The simplest answer is usually the correct one. We will see.
