As much as I like to support my local gun store (sounds like that oughta star James Garner, don't it?), I have really got into buying my ammo on-line, especially, what for me, is bulk purchases (500 rounds or so at a time). I like the variety, prices and speed of delivery.

Like Tommy, I don't think it has a chance...unless some less than stellar repubs decide it'd be okay to do away with on-line ammo sales for some percieved political gain.

This is SUCH a bunch of BS. Exactly what crime will be stopped by not buying your ammunition online. If ever there was a more blatant sign that the gun controlers are just out to control the populace, this is it.

After what happened one would think they would be looking for what they call "solutions" for similar situations. The AWB or Hi-Cap ban at least has a correlation to what happened, you could at least make the case that it would "help" (in the mind of a gun controler). But no, they come up with an online ammo sales ban....What a crock.

Still, I don't think it's going anywhere, but I'm ticked nonetheless.

what i'm expecting next is that the leftists will try to close the sales of Garands by CMP.

IF you check out "The Washington COMpost's" website (AND YOU SHOULD!), you will see that MANY of the loons are NOW calling Garands & common "deer rifles", "SNIPER RIFLES" as those weapons "can be modified into assault weapons or be used to kill police & firefighters".
(i find it FUNNY that the leftists are DENYING that any high-power rifle has "a legitimate sporting use".)

The TEA PARTY her is LARGELY responsible for the "house cleaning" & we BEAT "the GOP professionals' choice", David Dewhurst, for the US Senate as well.

My lgs was offering cases of 7.62x54R ammo at a bargain price. The real plus was that if you bought a case, they threw in a Mosin rifle for free! Although I didn't feel the need for another Mosin, I got the ammo (and the rifle) anyway!
