Must say it did my heart good to see a bad guy who wasn't just a "Star Wars Stormtrooper" and did something smart.

The one who saw the good guy's legs behind the conveyor belt, shot him in the leg, and then hit center mass with the follow up shot.

This is an interesting series. I hope it gets renewed, but I have heard it's struggling and may be on the chopping board.
There would be less drama if the bad guys were stupid drones which could be thwarted easily. Giving the bad guys a bit of brains was a smart move ....is that a pun? Oh well.
It was interesting the female arch enemy actually relented at the last moment and didn't TKO the airport.
--Then revealed "the event" was what really would be the killing experience, and supposedly, less "humane" than supercharged Spanish Flu. Uh-oh.

They cancelled this and "V." Bad day for TV IMO.
And No Ordinary Family. Bad day for Sci-Fi.

And yet all the silly CSI and Law & Order shows go on and on and on. There's no justice.

Hey, I like CSI and CSI New York. The Miami version is ... meh, I can take it or leave it.
Law & Order L.A. is canceled. If that helps ....

Too bad House's next season is its last, and we aren't gonna have Cuddy to drool over anymore through it... (Lisa Edelstein decided it was time to Pull The Loud Handle.)

I have a theory: It is easy for the producers and networks to maintain control of political bias in police dramas because they are a mature well understood format. Science Fiction can be very random and the scripts can be double edged. Star Trek TOS introduced a lot of firsts in television and frequently addressed sensitive social issues. My theory is that the producers and networks do not want such avenues available on network television because they cannot control how the political bias is framed and presented.

The Event grew on me and I was surprised it was cancelled. However, the way it ended leaves room for a Sci Fi or FX mini series.
FX or TNT perhaps. There is no Sci Fi channel and I doubt you would want to watch what SyFy would excrete.

Yeah, ScyFy seems to have gone downhill pretty fast.
Aren't they an NBC joint? Which means, wouldn't they now be owned by Cable Town, or whatever it is?
