We will all fade into that final night at some point. I was recently reminded of that with my dad's passing. How you fade away isn't as important as what you've accomplished in the doing so.
Asimov, Laumer, E.E. Smith, Murray Leinster, and their ilk gave entire generations a glimpse at their future, and we are all the better for it.
It's never too late to make a difference, even if it's only to vote, and encourage the common discourse that is slipping away. We need to talk about what is important to us, and why. in doing so, we may influence others to follow our lead, even after we are gone.
