Odd case. Well kept TB found wandering down a road. Wearing a halter with a nameplate and trailing a leadrope. They've traced ownership back a few owners, but no one has come forth to claim him yet.

"The horse, which was bred in Aldergrove, B.C., raced for three years in Vancouver, B.C., before his breeders sold him to a Snohomish couple. They were dealing with some family issues at the time and passed the horse on to a Sultan-area woman so he would have a good home. That woman likewise gave the horse to someone else."
He is still scheduled to be auctioned off on 2/3/04 if his current owner cannot be traced.
This is a good example of why it can be hard or impossible to get papers on a TB if they've gone through a few changes in ownership and the papers didn't go with them. From reading the articles, I gather that the Snohomish people still have his JC registration papers.
