Good one. However, I'm currently doing my share for diversity by owning different makes in similar calibers; I'm on a budget.

Support diversity - carry multiple weapons.

In the 1960s the Browning 3 gun set, now days, there's a set for almost every budget and Glock can do 3 sizes in 9mm.

Geoff
Who is still carrying only occasionally, FL law isn't what the Brady bunch makes it out.

26, 19, 17 . . . plus the 34 and the 17L.

Five. (Or four . . . assuming they've completely discontinued the 17L.)
Six if you count the select-fire 18.

Poor Charlie; he started a thread with a very thoughtful comment, and it went GLOCK within 3 posts

What's so bad about an AK?
I have a WASR-10. It looks like ****, but it works.

say it isn't so Walt
It is indeed, and a WASR 10 to boot. I bought it because it was cheap, functional, fires a round of sufficient heft and because I won't hesitate to take it places that I might be reluctant to field my pricey AR.

And because I didn't have one.

Plus, it makes a very distinctive sound when fired...

I thought I was required to have one of each of them...

Except maybe a Nambu.

Patty Rogers was doing a carbine class here for the local Swatskis today.

I was tempted to make an appearance with my Mini-14.

But only just. :)

New thought for the day; Whenever a thread goes south we can now say it 'went to Glock'!

M1 Garand(14)
1911A1(1,currently)
Marlin 39A
Rem.870
M1 Carbine(3)
Ruger Blackhawk,45Colt
Ruger SBH(1)
PA-63

They didn't get the collector-grades in my Browning Safe(Evidently, 850lbs.was too much logistically for them) and I've purchased another shooter, a really nice correct HRA. I also bought a Underwood Carbine and a 39A. Yes, insurance finally paid off. Oh, and a 450 pound Steelwater gunsafe for my shooters. They try to carry this one off, they'll be speaking in a high-pitched voice. Still looking for another 4" Model 28( Preferably a -2). if anybody knows of one reasonably-priced, let me know.

Mossberg 500
Ruger Mini 14
J-Frame
Ruger Superblackhawk
DA .357 Ruger in my case.
Bolt action Remington in serious caliber.

AK...I'm looking...the Century didn't look as bad as it's net publicity, I think I'll hang around the rifle end of my range until I see a couple in action...after the heat breaks.

Geoff
Whose disposable income was disposed to insurance this year, sigh.

Well, I'm three for four, then. (If you count multiples, then I'm about twelve for four. )
