Got some extra workups this year.
Need to perforate a couple of paper plates @ 25 & 50 yards with the L-Frame S&W .44 Mag.
Need to perforate a couple of paper plates @ 100 & 200 yards Standing with the Ruger Alaskan.
What do Y'all do for work-ups prior to gun season?

But the Hawkeye isn't what you bragged about and you got caught. The snub-nosed revolver is a Ruger Alaskan.

Perhaps you have jumped the gun?

Ruger Alaskan is also a Hawkeye rifle: should you search Rugers Website you shall get both results. https://www.ruger.com/search/ Go ahead, punch in nothing more than Alaskan. Double dog dare y'all.

But if you own a Ruger Alaskan Revolver, I'm game to taking a few whacks from the Creedmore Position at 200 yards. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/12/08/potd-creedmoor-shooting-position/

Bye the way: Best part of belonging to this forum is that folks actually realize/or have witnessed that marksmen can hit 10 inch paper plates 10 times from the unsupported standing position at 200 yards with a rifle. God it's Great to rub elbows with folks that shot more than "Plastic Fantastics" . LOL

Plug "Ruger Aslaskan" into google and see what you come up with. Double dog dare you. It won't be a Hawkeye. And I've hit what I was shooting at with a Ruger Blackhawk slightly over that distance.

Granted I was about 60 years younger at the time.

Must admit that I expected you to be a bit more magnanimous in victory.

That's some pretty strong wording for a bit of confusion between the Ruger Alaskan Rifle & Revolver?

It was being called a braggart that pissed me off. That Ruger Blackhawk is the reason I never pursued Colt SAAs.
