Traditions "Magnum Hawken" .50 Cal. SOLD!

Traditions discontinued Model R30802 "Magnum Hawken" percussion rifle, half-stock, .50 caliber. This heavy-barreled rifle was designed for stout "magnum" loads (especially Pyrodex pellets) and conical projectiles (fast 1:32" twist). Designed to take any big game on the continent!

Blued octagonal bbl with hook breech, modern rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation, color case-hardened lock, double set-triggers, black steel furniture and German silver inlays, dark walnut stock. Comes with 2 nipples: musket cap size (for sure ignition), and standard #11 cap size. .50 cal cleaning jag, lubed felt wads, quick reload tubes, and a box of Hornady "Great Plains" 385 gr bullets (one missing) included.

Minor scuffs and dings to stock from use and handling, some bore roughness due to neglect of the previous owner I rescued it from. I've polished it up as best as I can, and it is an accurate shooter.

Great starter gun for someone looking to try muzzle-loading!

$135.00 + shipping SOLD!
