Halloween was a non-event in my neighborhood. Usually there are herds of children up and down the street, but tonight I had 10 all night.
Now I'm stuck with a ton of candy.

I give out real, full size candy bars. Gave out 128 last night, with only one or two double dippers. Our neighborhood goes all-out for Halloween.
Sandy Sue the Wonder Terrier had to give each group that rang the door bell a good barking at...it's just what she does. After about the first hundred, she just went into the den, plopped herself down on her big pillow, and said, "F*** it."

As it was RAINING like H all Halloween, we (NOT surprisingly) had NO kids,.
(NOW what do we do with all the muffins that she baked for our neighbors kids, on 29OCT15??)
Anybody want a leftover muffin of 5-6 flavors??

Yep, that's a problem...you have to prepare for at least ten dozen kids, then it rains and you've got about three million calories just sitting in your cupboard.
And all three million of 'em start calling out to you about 0300 every morning.

We only had two - our own grandpeeps, Zippit and Buckethead.
They hit us last after touring the local adult care facility.
The haul there was legendary, they like the kidlets.
But, when they got home, all was dark.
And Pepaw was waiting in the shadows with a hockey mask.
And a CO2 fire extinguisher...

I think we avoided that; but the shrieking was on a par with that produced by the Christmas robot surprise.
