A very heartfelt thank you to all who serve and have served.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
******Between the crosses, row on row,
***That mark our place; and in the sky
***The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
***Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
*********In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
***The torch; be yours to hold it high.
***If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
*********In Flanders fields.

To ALL,

On this SPECIAL day, PLEASE say something nice to every WWII and every other combat vet that you may meet. There are MANY fewer of those HEROES every single day.
(Truthfully, 11/11 always makes me sad, as my dad, my uncles and even my friends who served in WWII and Korea are ALL gone now.)

yours, sw

I would do it all over again if I could. I'm sure many of my fellow vets here feel the same way. Happy Vets day to all.
