That quote from the ending of "The Blues Brothers" is one of my all-time favorite movie lines. Sometimes in the simulator, when we're cleared for takeoff, we'll recite the line, then just as we shove the thrust levers to the firewall, we add the final two words, "Hit it!".

I think this is pretty neat of ol' Elwood. There's a whole lot of small, rural departments that are just crying for operational funds.

My God, man, an in-depth knowledge of the classics can hardly be considered "useless knowledge". My hat's off to a scholar of the fine arts!Can you tell my head is full of absolutely useless knowledge?
I can offer one piece of advice: When your medical examiner casually asks, "Hey, how's it goin'?" don't reply, "Sometimes the voices tell me to do bad things."
