Shouldn't this be the Credo of this Forum?
Gold is for the mistress, silver for the maid,
Copper for the craftsman, cunning at his trade.
Good! Said the baron, while sitting in his hall,
But Iron, Cold Iron, is master of them all.

If you can keep your sight-picture when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on the ammo,
If you can trust John Browning when all men doubt you
But carry enough spare rounds for their doubting too,
If you can run 'n gun and not be tired by runing,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to the "grabbers",
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

maybe someone else can finish it for me

A trophy of my relationship with one particular publisher!
I traded a pocket knife for a Cold Steel "Recon Tanto". One hellofagood field knife. Keeps a wicked edge and has never failed any task. It's a factory second so it has the big number "2" stamped on the butt, but the way the knife works and works - doesn't matter. Never did figure out why it was a factory 2nd...
It remains one of my favorite blades and is often found riding next to my rifle in my Bronco.
