by Joal Ryan
Today's word in the Robert Blake murder case: "Snuff."
A day after a Baretta stuntman testified that Blake offered him $10,000 to "pop" wife Bonny Lee Bakley, and two days after an L.A. private eye testified that Blake mentioned he should "whack" Bakley, a second Baretta stuntman testified the 1970s TV cop wanted to "snuff" out Bakley.
The testimony was among the highlights on the third day of Blake's preliminary hearing.
Blake, 69, is charged with the shooting death of Bakley in May 2001 outside the star's favorite Italian restaurant in Studio City, California. Blake's former bodyguard, Earle Caldwell, faces a conspiracy rap. The prelim will determine if the two men are to stand trial.
